Competitive Robotics in McAllen, Texas.
Lobos Negros Foxtrot is a competitive robotics team in McAllen, Texas, where students learn engineering, programming, strategy, leadership and teamwork through real-world competition.
We are part of Lobos Negros, a binational robotics program with teams in Mexico and the United States competing in the FIRST ecosystem.
No previous robotics experience is required.

THIS IS NOT A ROBOTICS CLASS
More than robotics.
Foxtrot is not a traditional after-school robotics class.
Students become part of a real competitive team.
They design, build, program and drive robots created to solve complex challenges under competition conditions.
Along the way, they develop skills that go far beyond the robot:
-
Engineering
-
Programming
-
Mechanical design
-
Electronics
-
CAD
-
Problem solving
-
Communication
-
Leadership
-
Strategy
-
Teamwork
Students don't just learn how things work.
They learn how to make them work.
WHY
Built for competition.
LOBOS NEGROS?
Lobos Negros was created with one objective:
To develop students capable of performing at the highest level of competitive robotics.
Our teams have competed across Mexico and the United States, including regional, national and international events.
Our students train in:
-
Engineering design
-
Mechanical systems
-
Programming
-
Electronics
-
Match strategy
-
Driver training
-
Team communication
-
Project management
Students are coached through a structured development system designed to take them from beginner to competitive team member.
Foxtrot is the next chapter.
Foxtrot brings the Lobos Negros model to Texas.
Based in McAllen, Foxtrot represents the growth of a robotics program that now operates on both sides of the border.
